Simple Chicken Ramen Bowl
Quick upgrades to Mr. Noodles ramen with seared chicken, soy-sesame broth, and fresh toppings.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- salt, to taste
- garlic powder, to taste
- 1 package instant ramen noodles (Mr Noodles or similar)
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 cup bean sprouts
- 2 sprigs green onions, chopped
- 3 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Optional: chili oil (for serving)

- Frying pan
- Small pot
- Knife and cutting board

Directions
Cook the chicken
Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt, garlic powder, and a splash of soy sauce. Fry until fully cooked and lightly browned on the outside. Set aside to rest, then slice.
Make the broth
Bring chicken stock to a boil in a pot. Add ramen noodles and cook until tender. Stir in the seasoning packet, soy sauce, and minced garlic (if using). Simmer briefly to combine flavors.
Finish the broth
Stir in sesame oil at the end to add aroma and richness.
Assemble the bowl
Place noodles and broth into serving bowls. Top with sliced chicken.
Add toppings
Serve with bean sprouts and chopped green onions on the side or on top. Add chili oil if desired.
Notes
- Add toppings fresh to keep texture and crunch.
- Adjust soy sauce depending on saltiness of broth.
- For richer flavor, sear chicken until golden before slicing.
